How it works

The machine is fed with pre-punched and ganthered products with the covers on the bottom and the punched side downwards. The book  is transported in the insertion area where it mets diagonal bar on which the spiral run and is cut. This way the first ring of the spiral slips into the first hole of the book, and the actual movement of the book itself facilitates the insertion of the whole length. The spiral is then turned 90” in a special patented tunnel and finally closed under specific pressing unit.

This binding system is recognised as the simplest and most natural , due to the way paper is handlied, allowing considerable speeds and simplicity even throughout the changing operations and associated fine tunings.

• Uses WireBind Rilematic® Wire on spools with diameters from 1/4" to 1-1/4" for maximum binding thickness of  28 mm.
